RAIN

It is raining here today. We are so thankful for the rain, but it sure is making it hard for me to get going. Palin my puppy will not let the rain touch her, when I open the door she runs backward. She is so funny.

I am really enjoying reading all the blogs, there are some really interesting ones out there.

Ok it is time to put on my apron and get busy!

Have a blessed day!

DJ

The picture to the right is of my baby, DJ. He is 21 and in the USAF. Our thing is-- "remember you will always be my baby".
When he was in Iraq, I ended all of my letters with
this statement, he said it always made him smile and lifted his spirits.
I am so proud of him!

ETTATUDE

Today I drank chocolate milk from a wine glass. Why? Because I can, I am having
an Ettatude. It is a fun thing to do. I also drink coffee from a tea cup, and eat cereal
ot of a salad bowl. What do you do that is your "tude"?

I wear aprons and I like hats!

TODAY

Today as I look out my window, I saw the beautiful colors of the trees.
The air is cool today and the sky is blue. The wind has blown a lot of the leaves from the trees, seemingly to beacon winter to hasten on.
I am thinking about how wonderful this weather is, how I am enjoying fall.
I am thankful for my eyesight, without it I would miss all of God's splendor.
I am going to get my daughter today. She is coming over to spend some time with Mama.
She is going thru a rough time right now and I feel helpless all I can do is love her and
be there for her.
I worked on the quilt for a while before my daughter came over, It is really coming along.
All in all today has been a productive day.

FALL

Today was a beautiful fall day, as I drove up my drive the view was amazing. The trees were
shades of orange, red, and yellow. The sky was grey and it made the colors really pop. There
is a deer that is wandering the woods, I haven't seen him but he sounds huge.

I am working on quilts for ChristmaS gifts. I have my second on the quilt frame now, I hope
to finish by the end of next week. I still have 3 baby quilts left to make. I am going to be really
busy. My husband and I are making all of our Christmas gifts this year: so I also have to help
him with some painting of wood projects. It is going to be so much fun doing all of this.

Welcome

Hi!

Welcome to ETTABEE'S ETTATUDES. I am new to blogging, so bear with me. Well tomorrow is Vote 08, I hope that all of you are getting out and voting. Enough about that, I hate politics.

I am looking forward to the upcoming holidays. Christmas is my favorite holiday. I am from a
very large family (13 brothers and sisters) and we always get together at Christmas. The last count with bro, sisters, spouses, children, grandchildren, and even great grand children there was a grand total of 115 of us.

I hate to stop here, but I will write more later.
